Job Summary:

The Medical Assistant/X-ray Tech is a vital member of our healthcare team, responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support services. This role requires a strong foundation in medical assisting and radiologic procedures, with a focus on ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare patients for radiologic procedures, including proper radiation protection and shielding techniques.
  • Assist with patient transfers and provide basic clinical care, including vital sign collection and documentation.
  • Support front desk personnel with patient check-in and check-out procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Follow established clinical and regulatory procedures to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; medical assistant certificate and ARRT certification preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant; experience in radiologic procedures a plus.
  • BLS certification required.
