Ambulatory Patient Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Ambulatory Patient Assistant to join our team at Nationwide Children's Hospital. As an Ambulatory Patient Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our pediatric patients and their families.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform basic supportive care to patients under the direction of an RN/Care Manager
  • Collect, document, and report vital signs and other patient data
  • Assist with procedures and provide general patient safety
  • Prep materials and supplies as needed
  • Ensure environmental standards are met and patient areas are stocked and maintained
Requirements:
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) preferred, but not required
  • CPR (BLS for healthcare provider) certification
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software
