Job Title: Certified Surgical Tech PRN

We are seeking a skilled Certified Surgical Tech PRN to join our team at North Springs Surgery Center. As a Certified Surgical Tech, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our state-of-the-art ambulatory surgery center.

About the Role:

Under the direction of a Registered Nurse, the Certified Surgical Tech will assist with the provision of safe and effective nursing care in the operating room. This includes direct patient care and observation, scrubbing and assisting the surgeon at the operative field, surgical room turnover between cases, and collection and recording of pertinent clinical data in the medical record.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care and observation in the operating room
  • Assist the surgeon at the operative field during surgical procedures
  • Ensure timely and efficient surgical room turnover between cases
  • Collect and record pertinent clinical data in the medical record
  • Collaborate with the Registered Nurse in clinical decision making
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program
  • One year experience in an operating room setting (preferably in an ambulatory surgery center)
  • Surgical Tech Certification
  • State of Colorado Surgical Tech Registration required
  • Valid BCLS Certification upon employment
