Position Overview

Role: Legal Practice Assistant - Litigation

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the drafting and preparation of various legal documents, including routine notices and filings.
  • Compile, review, and organize documentation for meetings and legal proceedings.
  • Communicate routine information to client management regarding legal matters under the guidance of counsel.
  • Conduct legal and factual research as directed by attorneys.
  • Support the preparation of presentations and assist the legal and compliance teams with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Facilitate contract reviews and collaborate with other departments as necessary.
  • Implement process improvements and recommendations to enhance efficiency.
  • Maintain an inventory of office supplies and manage litigation files and records.
  • Provide administrative support, including scheduling meetings and managing travel arrangements.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in litigation support.
  • Preferred experience as a Legal Assistant or Paralegal certification/training.
  • Proficient in iManage and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
  • Strong written communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
