WestGate Church, a vibrant and diverse multisite church in the Silicon Valley, is in search of a dedicated and enthusiastic Childcare Coordinator. This role is pivotal in creating a safe, nurturing, and inviting atmosphere for children and their families.

Professional Experience:

  • A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution or a minimum of two years of relevant experience or training.
  • A proactive and organized individual capable of managing responsibilities with minimal supervision.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
  • Recruit and onboard childcare personnel.
  • Collaborate with the HR department to facilitate the onboarding process for new hires.
  • Provide training for childcare staff on policies, emergency procedures, and other essential protocols.
  • Organize CPR training sessions as they become available.
  • Schedule childcare staff and provide support as needed.
  • Utilize PCO to manage staff scheduling for events and ensure proper room reservations.
  • Act as a welcoming presence for families during check-in and assist with any technical issues.
  • Conduct inventory checks for necessary supplies and ensure a welcoming environment in each room.
  • Deliver lessons and activities in accordance with the provided curriculum.
  • Serve as the primary contact for parents and staff.
  • Complete incident reports as necessary and communicate with parents regarding any injuries.
  • Participate in ongoing training and educational opportunities provided by WestGate Church.
  • Adhere to and enforce the Childcare Policies of WestGate Church consistently.
