Key Responsibilities

Peraton is in search of a qualified Senior Action Officer, Director's Action Group to contribute to our USCYBERCOM initiatives.

Position Overview:
  • As a strategic planner within the USCYBERCOM J3 Director's Action Group (DAG), you will facilitate the execution of strategic plans to align with J3 objectives.
  • Formulates implementation directives for OSD, USCYBERCOM, and other high-level guidance related to national cyberspace strategy and policy.
  • Oversees engagements, documentation, and information for senior USCYBERCOM J3 leadership interactions with other Combatant Command (CCMD) senior officials, Legislative Branch, and key stakeholders.
  • Ensures coherence in leadership communications across subordinate divisions to maintain clarity and consistency in J3 messaging.
  • Collaborates on inputs and develops presentations, reports, and materials in accordance with J3 senior leadership directives for command initiatives.
  • Coordinates with USCYBERCOM staff to fulfill administrative and operational tasks as directed by senior leadership.
  • Maintains familiarity with the vision, mission, and objectives of the J3 Director.
  • Provides project support and performs additional tasks as necessary to achieve J3 priorities.

Qualifications

Essential:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Project Management, Business Management, Economics, Political Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Law, Government Contracting, Finance/Accounting, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in Project Management.
  • Proficient understanding of the Joint Planning Process.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational capabilities.
  • Advanced communication skills suitable for executive-level interactions.
  • Comprehends Cyber Mission and understands the implications of policy and operations in cyberspace.
  • U.S. citizenship and an active Top Secret/SCI with polygraph security clearance.
Preferred:
  • Experience in strategy development.
  • Background in fast-paced environments supporting senior leadership.
  • Exhibits professionalism in communication, with sound judgment in handling sensitive information.
  • Demonstrated initiative in fulfilling past responsibilities.
  • Highly organized, adaptable to various tasks, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
  • Strong executive-level communication skills, including proficiency in written materials and presentations.
