Key Responsibilities

Peraton is in search of a qualified Senior Action Officer, Director's Action Group to contribute to our USCYBERCOM efforts.

Position Overview:
  • As a strategic planner within the USCYBERCOM J3 Director's Action Group (DAG), you will implement strategic initiatives to align with J3 objectives.
  • Develops execution guidance for OSD, USCYBERCOM, and other high-level directives pertaining to national cyberspace strategy, policy, and guidance.
  • Oversees engagements, materials, and information for senior USCYBERCOM J3 leadership interactions with other Combatant Command (CCMD) senior leadership, Legislative Branch, and other key stakeholders.
  • Facilitates leadership communications across subordinate directorates to ensure that the intent, messages, and themes for J3 are coherent, aligned, and consistent.
  • Coordinates contributions and prepares presentations, documents, and materials in accordance with J3 senior leadership directives for command projects, proposals, and initiatives.
  • Collaborates across USCYBERCOM staff to fulfill administrative and operational assignments from senior leadership.
  • Maintains familiarity with the vision, mission, and objectives of the J3 Director.
  • Provides project support and performs various ad hoc tasks in the execution of J3 priorities as needed.
Qualifications

Essential:
  • A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Project Management, Business Management, Economics, Political Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Law, Government Contracting, Finance/Accounting, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in Project Management.
  • Strong understanding of the Joint Planning Process.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational capabilities.
  • Proficient executive-level communication skills.
  • Comprehends Cyber Mission and understands the implications of policy and operations in cyberspace.
  • U.S. citizenship and an active Top Secret/SCI with polygraph security clearance.
Preferred:
  • Experience in strategy development.
  • Background in fast-paced environments directly supporting senior leadership.
  • Demonstrated professionalism in communication, with sound judgment and discretion in handling sensitive information.
  • Proven initiative in previous roles and responsibilities.
  • Highly organized, adaptable to changing tasks, and possesses strong multitasking abilities.
  • Strong executive-level communication skills, including both written materials and presentations.
