Key Responsibilities

Peraton is in search of a seasoned Senior Action Officer, Director's Action Group to enhance our USCYBERCOM efforts.

Position Overview:
  • As a strategic planner within the USCYBERCOM J3 Director's Action Group (DAG), you will facilitate the execution of strategic initiatives aligned with J3 objectives.
  • Formulates implementation directives for OSD, USCYBERCOM, and other high-level mandates concerning national cyberspace strategy, policy, and guidance.
  • Oversees engagements, documentation, and information for senior USCYBERCOM J3 leadership interactions with other Combatant Command (CCMD) senior officials, Legislative Branch, and other vital partners and stakeholders.
  • Synchronizes leadership communications across subordinate divisions to ensure clarity, consistency, and alignment of J3 messages and themes.
  • Coordinates contributions and develops presentations, reports, and materials in accordance with J3 senior leadership directives for command initiatives and proposals.
  • Collaborates across USCYBERCOM staff to fulfill administrative and operational assignments from senior leadership.
  • Maintains a thorough understanding of the vision, mission, and objectives of the J3 Director.
  • Provides project support and executes additional tasks as necessary to advance J3 priorities.
Qualifications

Essential:
  • A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Project Management, Business Management, Economics, Political Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Law, Government Contracting, Finance/Accounting, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in Project Management.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the Joint Planning Process.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational capabilities.
  • Advanced executive-level communication skills.
  • In-depth understanding of Cyber Mission and the implications of policy and operations in cyberspace.
  • U.S. citizenship and an active Top Secret/SCI with polygraph security clearance.
Preferred:
  • Experience in strategy development.
  • Background in a dynamic environment directly supporting senior leadership.
  • Exemplary communication skills, professionalism, and discretion in handling sensitive information.
  • Proven initiative in previous roles and responsibilities.
  • Highly organized, adaptable to changing tasks, and proficient in multitasking.
  • Strong executive-level communication skills, encompassing both written and presentation formats.
