Job Summary

\

This role involves collecting and analyzing data to drive continuous improvement projects, maintaining information on site quality performance, and supporting the development of new standards and procedures. You will also be responsible for reviewing trending on assigned areas of responsibility and performing Design of Experiments (DOE) to optimize plant processes.

Key Responsibilities

\
  • \
  • Analyze appropriate data to identify projects that reduce the Cost of Poor Quality, improve product quality, and increase Yield Opportunity to 100%\
  • Maintain accurate records of site quality performance, including Cost of Quality data\
  • Support the development of new standards and procedures for the Site and/or Enterprise\
  • Meet departmental goals in the continuous improvement of quality products, services, and processes\
  • Provide quality reports and review trending on assigned areas of responsibility\
  • Perform DOE's to improve and optimize new and existing plant processes\
  • Lead quality assurance improvement activities by evaluating products, processes, and data\
  • Lead the development and maintenance of product risk and hazard analysis\
  • Support critical quality issues investigation using quality tools\
  • Work with management and technical staff to perform root cause failure analysis and implement corrective actions\
  • Support technology transfer products between West sites\
  • Perform internal ISO and quality systems audits\
  • All other duties as required\
  • Exhibit regular attendance, punctuality, and predictability\
  • Conform with all regulations, policies, work procedures, instructions, and safety rules\\/ul

Requirements

\

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

\
  • \
  • Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering, or commensurate experience\
  • 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance / Quality Control / Quality System\
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills\
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills\
  • Working knowledge of ISO requirements (15378) and Pharmaceutical Industry requirements (cGMP, etc)\\/ul

Estimated Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per year
