Pulmonary Specialist Opportunity in Progressive Community

Salary:$201.39 - $219.20 /hour
Responsibilities
Patient Care:
- Diagnose and treat various medical conditions, including respiratory disorders.
- Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.
- Conduct thorough medical examinations and histories to ensure accurate diagnoses.
Communication:
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Provide clear and concise medical information to patients and their loved ones.
- Foster a collaborative and patient-centered approach to healthcare, prioritizing empathy and understanding.
Documentation:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, adhering to strict confidentiality protocols.
- Document medical findings, diagnoses, and treatment plans in a timely and organized manner.
- Ensure compliance with coding and billing regulations to optimize reimbursement.
Diagnostic Procedures:
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging studies, to inform treatment decisions.
- Perform procedures as needed, collaborating with specialists when necessary.
- Work closely with radiologists and other specialists to ensure accurate interpretations and optimal patient outcomes.
Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality, coordinated care.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and case discussions to share knowledge and best practices.
- Provide consultative services to other healthcare providers, offering expert guidance and support.
Quality Improvement:
- Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives, driving continuous learning and growth within the organization.
- Review and analyze clinical outcomes to identify areas for improvement and implement evidence-based changes.
- Stay abreast of industry developments and advancements, applying new knowledge to enhance patient care and safety.
Compliance:
- Adhere to ethical and legal standards in medical practice, prioritizing patient autonomy and informed consent.
- Stay informed about healthcare regulations and compliance requirements, ensuring seamless navigation of complex guidelines.
- Participate in quality audits to ensure adherence to standards, promoting a culture of excellence within the organization.
Continuous Learning:
- Stay current with medical advancements and best practices through ongoing education and training.

Qualifications:
- American Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pulmonology.
- A valid and unrestricted state medical license or license-eligible.
