Role Overview:

We are seeking talented undergraduate students with strong analytical, interpersonal, and quantitative skills for an internship position within our Private Equity Team.

This internship presents a valuable opportunity to gain insights into the private equity sector.

Interns will engage in the analysis of various investment strategies, including leveraged buyouts, venture capital, growth equity, and distressed assets, allowing them to explore a broad spectrum of industries and capital structures.

Interns will collaborate within a team to conduct thorough due diligence, including financial modeling and the preparation of investment memorandums, focusing on three key investment areas: private equity fund investments, co-investment opportunities, and secondary transactions.

Interns will also have the chance to prepare and present investment recommendations to the Firm's Investment Committee, fostering a collaborative atmosphere.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong academic background, exceptional quantitative abilities, proficient writing skills, and a positive, team-oriented mindset.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze and evaluate co-investment opportunities and secondary transactions.
  • Engage with fund managers and portfolio company executives to perform detailed underwriting and analysis.
  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative research and financial modeling across various stages, industries, and geographies.
  • Perform due diligence on potential fund investments, synthesizing findings into comprehensive investment memorandums.
  • Interact with senior executives to gain insights on target fund managers' effectiveness.
  • Conduct market research to identify and analyze macroeconomic trends across diverse sectors.
  • Develop and articulate well-founded arguments based on research findings.

Qualifications:
  • Must have legal authorization to work in the U.S. without requiring visa sponsorship.
  • Undergraduate student with a strong academic record.
  • GPA of 3.5 or higher.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative modeling capabilities.
  • Team-oriented with a strong work ethic.

Compensation:
$95,000 – $95,000

This salary range is an estimate for this position. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as location, education, skills, and experience. Benefits and other forms of compensation may also be available.
