About the Role

This Advanced Practice Registered Nurse position offers an exciting opportunity to join our GI/Bariatrics team at Emory University Hospital Midtown. As a member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality patient care, collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals, and contribute to the development of innovative clinical practices.

Estimated Salary Range

$118,000 - $145,000 per year, based on experience.

Job Description
  • Provide direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with gastrointestinal and bariatric conditions.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, identifying opportunities for education and support.
  • Develop and maintain expertise in evidence-based practice guidelines and standards of care for GI/Bariatrics patients.
Requirements
  • DNP or Ph.D. in nursing required; APRN certification (AGACNP-BC, ANP-BC) preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as an advanced practice registered nurse, preferably in a GI/Bariatrics setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to analyze complex clinical data and make informed decisions about patient care.
