Key Responsibilities:
  • Payroll Processing: Compile payroll data to maintain accurate payroll records, including bi-weekly payroll processing, off-cycle payroll checks, and quarterly payroll tax reports.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to employees, addressing their questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Payroll Operations: Perform payroll operations, including downloading payroll reports, updating employee information, and reconciling payroll prior to transmission.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with payroll laws and IRS regulations, including processing child support orders and garnishments.
  • Reporting and Data Requests: Provide reporting and data requests associated with internal and external auditors, as well as assist with payroll team associates with payroll processing and office duties.
Requirements:
  • Strong Knowledge of Payroll Processes: Possess a strong understanding of payroll processes and procedures, including knowledge of payroll software and systems.

Qualifications:

  • Payroll Certification: Possess a payroll certification, such as the Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation.
  • Microsoft Office Skills: Possess strong skills in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Windows.
