Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Sentara Princess Anne Hospital in Virginia Beach, VA.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform MRI examinations while maintaining a safe and efficient operational area.
  • Ensure adequate supply inventory for performing examinations.
  • Explain examination procedures to patients and complete departmental documentation.
Requirements
  • 1 year of experience in a Rad Tech position, preferably in Radiologic Tech, Nuclear Medicine, Mammography, or Ultrasound.
  • Completion of an MRI school or certificate program, or a 24-month program in radiologic technology.
  • 6 months of MR experience or completion of an MR didactic program.
  • Must obtain ARRT MR advanced registry or ARMRIT within 2 years of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
  • MR experience or completion of an MR didactic program.
