**Assistant Store Manager

This is a leadership position that requires a strong leader who thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven work environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the store and its crew deliver a world-class customer experience through proper training and execution of our company's customer service and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Implement Operational Excellence: Partner with the management team to ensure all processes and tasks are managed effectively and efficiently. Focus areas include inventory management, shrink management, achieving store financial targets, policy compliance, execution of marketing promotions/events, product merchandising & signage, meeting quality standards, and store/crew safety & security.
- Lead and Develop the Store Team: Coach and inspire crew members regularly on how to improve and excel in their roles. Participate in interviewing, hiring, selection, development, and management of the store team.
- Instill Customer Service Excellence: Focus on serving customers and fulfilling our mission one customer at a time. Identify opportunities to improve the customer experience and ensure execution of identified solutions.
- Roll Up Your Sleeves: Be willing to use elbow grease and break a sweat in this role. Work with the crew in all departments to achieve operational excellence.
- Strong Leadership Skills: Ability to inspire others and gain trust and credibility with team members.
- Ability to Work Under Pressure: Stay calm in challenging situations and interact effectively with employees and customers.
- Excellent Organizational Skills: Attention to detail and ability to manage changing priorities.
- Self-Motivation and Independence: Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a timely manner.
- Strong Communication Skills: Provide clear direction and training, and manage emails and other inquiries.
- Staff Management Experience: A plus, but not required.
- Analytical, Problem-Solving, and Decision-Making Skills: Proven ability to analyze situations, solve problems, and make informed decisions.
- Excellent Customer Service Skills: Demonstrated ability to provide world-class customer service.
- Interest in Natural/Organic Foods and Supplements: A plus, but not required.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook: Ability to use these tools effectively.
