Job Overview

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and test engineering prototypes for large electronic and mechanical signs, ensuring optimal performance and functionality.
  • Assemble and integrate hardware components, wire PCBAs, and load software components, testing the system and documenting results.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement designs for LED and motor-controlled message-type signage for highways and gas stations.

Technical Requirements:

  • Proficiency in basic Linux command line usage and embedded systems.
  • Experience with microcontrollers, serial communication protocols (RS232, RS485, Ethernet, SPI, and I2C), and PCBA testing.
  • Knowledge of embedded firmware and LabVIEW programming.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Ability to read and interpret schematics and wiring diagrams.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills using lab equipment such as logic analyzers and oscilloscopes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create technical reports and documentation.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
