Job Title: Academy Director

Acceleration Academies is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Academy Director to lead our team of educators and support staff in delivering high-quality education to our students.

Job Summary

The Academy Director will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the academy, including instructional and non-instructional staff, to ensure that our students receive a comprehensive and supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of educators and support staff to deliver high-quality education to students
  • Develop and implement instructional plans and strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Monitor and evaluate student progress, identifying areas for improvement and developing targeted interventions
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide initiatives and programs
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Education or a related field
  • 7+ years of experience in education, with 3+ years of managerial experience
  • Proven track record of improving student outcomes and academic achievement
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certification in Educational Leadership
  • Experience working with students with exceptional needs
  • Knowledge of ESE and ELL programs
