The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dental assisting, with experience in restorative, prosthodontics, endodontics, and orthodontics procedures. You will be responsible for assisting with patient preparation, taking impressions, pouring and trimming models, and performing coronal polish and fluoride treatments.
We are looking for a candidate who is knowledgeable about proper sterilization methods and OSHA regulations, and who is able to maintain accurate records and inventory of dental supplies. Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential for this role.
Responsibilities:
- Assist dental providers with patient preparation and procedures
- Take impressions, pour and trim models, and perform coronal polish and fluoride treatments
- Maintain accurate records and inventory of dental supplies
- Assist with training new dental assistants and organizing schedules
Requirements:
- Valid WA state license and basic life support (BLS) certification
- 2 years' experience working as a dental assistant, or 3 years' experience with no formal training
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to communicate, read, and write in English and interpret common written material about dentistry
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bilingual in English/Spanish
- Ability to travel to other clinics in Snohomish County occasionally
