Job Summary

The Team Coordinator is responsible for supervising the daily operation of the Communication Assistants and the Physicians Liaisons. This role provides direction to a team, hires, terminates, and evaluates staff, prepares employee schedules, maintains employee records for attendance and performance, and provides daily monitoring, coaching, and feedback to staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise the daily operation of the Communication Assistants and the Physicians Liaisons
  • Provide direction to a team, including hiring, terminating, and evaluating staff
  • Prepare employee schedules and maintain employee records for attendance and performance
  • Provide daily monitoring, coaching, and feedback to staff
  • Analyze performance using state-of-the-art communication technologies
  • Identify opportunities for improvement, recommend solutions, and implement recommendations to maximize effectiveness of the team
  • Arrange for and conduct team meetings and training

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Level Degree preferred
  • Understanding of Hospital departments/units and the health care profession preferred
  • Call reporting applications preferred
  • HS Diploma Required
  • 2 years of Call Center experience required
  • 2 years of Supervisory experience required
