As a Registered Nurse Sepsis Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality of care for patients with sepsis.

Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement evidence-based sepsis protocols and guidelines to ensure compliance with best practices.
  2. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to identify and address sepsis-related issues and improve patient outcomes.
  3. Conduct regular audits and quality improvement initiatives to monitor sepsis care and identify areas for improvement.
  4. Develop and maintain educational programs and resources to enhance staff knowledge and skills in sepsis care.
  5. Participate in sepsis patient rounds and provide expert guidance on sepsis management and treatment.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree
  • Minimum of 5 years of critical care RN experience
  • Current Texas RN license
  • Preferred: Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certification
