Job SummaryWe're seeking a skilled Staff Software Engineer to join our STS team in San Diego, California. As a key member of our cloud-based platform development team, you'll be responsible for designing and maintaining scalable distributed solutions that drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in agile software development, including design, implementation, deployment, and production support.
- Architect end-to-end systems optimized for performance, scale, and reliability.
- Work primarily with Go, Java, React, and JavaScript.
- Collaborate across time zones via Teams, GitHub comments, and documents.
- At least 7+ years of experience in building large-scale software applications.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or an IT-related field.
- Must have experience running and supporting production systems on public cloud platforms like AWS.
- Experience in designing and building services with AWS is essential.
- Knowledge of cloud-based offerings and orchestration technologies (AWS Step Function, Airflow, etc.).
- Experience in designing and integrating RESTful APIs.
- Good coding practices, including well-documented code.
- Excellent debugging and optimization skills.
- Experience in unit/integration testing.
