We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Data Analyst to join our team at Protagonist. As a key member of our data analytics team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality data insights and solutions to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Manage the end-to-end delivery of our data analytics solutions to clients, providing project management for teams of 1-3 analysts and supporting multiple clients.
  • Data Collection: Work with a range of content vendors and deploy a variety of scrapers, scripts, and other tools to develop narrative-rich data sets to address customer needs.
  • Problem-Solving: Problem-solve to address complex data challenges and find practical solutions.
  • Collaboration: Support our analytics approach to data and collaborate closely with Government Solutions teammates to deliver data analytics to our customers.
  • Client Relationships: Develop relationships with clients to effectively and consistently deliver value through our projects.
Requirements
  • Authorized to Work: Authorized to work in the US.
  • US Government Contracts: Must be able to work on US Government contracts that may be restricted to US citizens.
  • Education: BS Degree or higher in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or Mathematics or similar field.
  • Experience: At least one year of previous experience in a lead analyst role, managing projects and directing project teams.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with R and other statistical programming languages, experience in programming languages like Python or SQL, strong experience with Excel, and strong academic grounding in data science concepts.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, ability to work independently as well as part of a cross-functional team, and ability to meet tight deadlines.
