We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Lourdes Health Network. As a Mental Health RN, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our guests, patients, families, customers, and colleagues.
Key Responsibilities- Provide total nursing care for patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Participate in patient and family teaching, and provide education to patients and their families on mental health conditions, treatment options, and self-care strategies.
- Work collaboratively with other patient care personnel to maintain standards for professional nursing practice and ensure high-quality patient care.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans that address the unique needs and goals of each patient.
- Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and their families, and connect them with community resources and support services as needed.
- Graduate of a School of Nursing required.
- One (1) year mental health experience preferred.
- License Registered Nurse credentialed from the Washington Department of Health obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Heart Saver AED specializing in First Aid credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
