We are seeking a highly skilled Guidance, Navigation, and Controls (GN&C) Engineer II to join our team at Blue Canyon Technologies. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, analyzing, testing, and deploying GN&C subsystems for small spacecraft.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and develop GN&C subsystems for small spacecraft, including CubeSats and ESPA-class spacecraft.
- Analyze and test GN&C systems to ensure they meet performance and reliability requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate GN&C systems with other spacecraft subsystems.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and test reports.
- Participate in design reviews, software and hardware-level testing, and on-orbit commissioning.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, and at least 2 years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of systems integration and testing, with experience in MATLAB/Simulink and C programming languages.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision, and to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with configuration management and issue tracking tools, and familiarity with spacecraft GN&C systems.
- Competitive salary range: $80,000 - $140,000.
