Position Details:
Job Title: Floating Senior Home Manager (Metro Atlanta Area)
Department: Residential Services
Supervisor: Regional Director
FLSA Status: Exempt
Job Summary: This role is accountable for overseeing the daily operations of residential facilities in the absence of a Senior Community Living Manager. The position may also involve floating to different homes as needed.
Qualifications:
Education: High School diploma or equivalent; an Associate's degree is preferred.
Experience: A minimum of two years of experience in supporting individuals with disabilities or a related field is required, along with at least one year of supervisory experience preferred. Equivalent experience may be considered with approval.
Licenses/Certifications: A valid GA Driver's License and vehicle insurance are required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.) is essential.
Supervisory Duties: Responsible for managing in-home direct care staff across assigned residences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Training and Program Oversight: Ensure person-centered activities are tailored to individual interests and goals.
- Health and Safety Management: Conduct regular inspections to maintain safety standards and coordinate emergency drills.
- Housekeeping and Nutrition: Oversee daily housekeeping tasks and ensure meal plans are nutritionally appropriate.
- Administrative Compliance: Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal regulations pertaining to residential services.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with guidelines.
- Physical Health Oversight: Ensure proper medication management and health documentation.
Additional Responsibilities:
Foster positive relationships with individuals, families, and staff while maintaining professionalism and respect for diversity. Adhere to all agency policies and procedures, and perform other duties as assigned.
