Position Title:
Accounts Receivable Specialist

Manage a portfolio of significant accounts valued between $6 million and $20 million, depending on the composition of the portfolio.

Engage with clients who have overdue balances to secure payments, establish payment commitments, and follow up on any payment agreements.


Meet or exceed targeted cash collection goals, focusing on reducing overdue amounts, minimizing bad debt risk, and achieving other quantitative targets.

Take charge of reporting disputed or underpaid invoices, identifying underlying issues, and collaborating with internal teams to expedite resolution and payment.

Timely escalate major collection challenges to management that may require special attention or additional resources.

Qualifications:


Minimum of 2 years of experience in collections, specifically in business-to-business (B2B) environments, with an emphasis on customer service and retention.

A degree in finance, business administration, commerce, or a related field, along with relevant professional experience is required.

Experience with ERP accounting systems such as SAP or Oracle is preferred.

Proficiency in Excel, especially with functions like VLOOKUP and pivot tables, is essential.

Knowledge of PCI (Payment Card Industry) and SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) compliance standards in a collections context is beneficial.

Experience in the healthcare or medical manufacturing industry is a plus.
