About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team at Toole Design in Atlanta, GA. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading projects teams and ensuring the efficient progression of multimodal transportation infrastructure projects. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality projects that meet the needs of all people, regardless of age, ability, race, or gender.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead projects teams and ensure the efficient progression of multimodal transportation infrastructure projects
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality projects
  • Coordinate predictable but highly complex processes to ensure project success
  • Develop business relationships with clients and participate in business development pursuits
  • Convene and document decisions reached through cross-Divisional, Departmental, and Agency coordination
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in civil engineering or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in transportation design (15+ years for Principal level)
  • 5+ years of experience serving in a project or design management role with a track record of progressively responsible work, managing projects
  • Willingness to perform site or client visits
  • General knowledge of project performance metrics and strategies for monitoring them
  • Interest in multimodal and active transportation issues and design for all ages and abilities
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of GDOT Plan Development Process
  • Experience preparing transportation and local agency permit documents
  • Experience developing construction documents, cost estimates, and specifications
