Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Logistics Coordinator to join our operations team at Building Electronic Controls, Inc. (BEC). In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials and equipment.

BEC is a leading provider of low-voltage and life safety systems in Southern California and Central California. Our clients include airports, amusement parks, correctional facilities, educational institutions, entertainment venues, healthcare organizations, hotels, motion picture studios, retailers, and transportation companies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the receipt and storage of incoming materials and equipment.
  • Prepare and distribute materials for delivery according to customer specifications.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and material movements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless logistics operations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in logistics coordination and inventory management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve logistical issues.
  • Ability to lift and move items up to 50 pounds safely.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate with colleagues.
  • Familiarity with inventory software and technology.
