**Role Overview**

Insight Global is seeking a skilled Software Engineer to support a federal client in Suffolk, VA. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and improving software by collaborating with a Product Owner, Scrum Master, and other Engineers.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Translate functional requirements into robust, scalable, and supportable solutions.
  • Participate in the full SDLC and actively troubleshoot issues in support of applications in production critical environments.
  • Develop strong development fundamentals, including object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, and complexity analysis.
  • Proficiency in at least one modern programming language, such as Java, JavaScript, Python, or C++.
  • Knowledge of best practices for the full SDLC, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, and testing operations.

**Compensation Package**

Compensation ranges from $28.87/hr to $57.67/hr, with benefits starting on the 31st day of employment, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
