Responsibilities

  • Candidate will serve as the System Admin with responsibility to build, update, secure, and support assigned on-premises infrastructure
  • Candidate will support a small team of engineers, while developing and maintaining relevant procedures and standards to ensure availability of foundational infrastructure systems
  • Candidate will be responsible for translating requirements into capabilities for technical teams comprised of engineers, stakeholders, and users
  • This individual will be a team player and work well with technical professionals in a multi-discipline agile environment
  • Be part of a team responsible for creating, maintaining, and augmenting an on premises compute environment
  • Translating requirements into capabilities for technical teams
  • Present status reports to key internal stakeholders
  • Evaluate new tools, technologies, and processes to improve on-premises environment
  • Other job-related duties as assigned


Qualifications

  • Candidate should be a self-starter able to identify, adopt and implement emerging software trends
  • 3 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 1 year relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 7 years relevant experience
  • Minimum Secret clearance required to start
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain an active TS/SCI with enhanced security checks
  • Bash, Python, Ansible, Power Shell
  • 3+ years of experience with Linux administration
  • Experience with containers like Docker and Kubernetes
  • Adequate visual acuity and manual dexterity for meeting the requirements of the Systems Analyst discipline
