Job Summary:

  • The supervisor will oversee and guide Tanning Consultants to achieve company objectives, leading by example in all operational aspects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily salon operations in a dynamic environment.
  • Lead by example in delivering a client-focused experience and achieving personal sales targets.
  • Maintain a professional and impeccably clean salon.
  • Set clear goals and objectives for team members.
  • Provide coaching, training, and constructive feedback to enhance team performance.
  • Generate sales reports, manage inventory, and assist with other managerial tasks.
  • Support the Salon Director in managing revenue and expenses.
  • Ensure optimal staffing levels for maximum productivity and customer service while controlling labor costs.
  • Availability to work evenings and weekends as needed for management coverage.
  • Reliable transportation for banking duties as required.
  • Expected to work five days a week, with a schedule of approximately 40 to 45 hours depending on employment status.

Qualifications:
  • Preferred college education, though not mandatory.
  • Experience in management and/or sales is essential.
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to manage effectively in a fast-paced environment while handling multiple tasks.
  • Familiarity with client service techniques and operational practices.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Proven leadership abilities, with a focus on coaching and mentoring.
  • Team-building capabilities.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate effectively.

Physical Requirements:
  • Capability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to bend and lift items as necessary.
  • Willingness to perform cleaning tasks to maintain salon standards.
