Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Registered Nurse to provide clinical care and support to patients participating in clinical trials. The successful candidate will have a strong background in oncology and research, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical care and support to patients participating in clinical trials
  • Conduct patient screenings and recruit participants for clinical trials
  • Collect and submit data accurately and timely
  • Prepare and submit required forms and materials for Institutional Review Board (IRB) review
  • Track and complete regulatory-related processes, including reporting of adverse events
  • Provide oversight of research staff in the absence of the Lead Research Nurse
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Two years of professional nursing experience in hospital or oncology practice setting preferred
  • Possession of a New York State Registered Nurse license
  • BLS Certification required
  • ACLS certification recommended
  • OCN certification required within 5 years of employment
  • Certified Clinical Research Associate (CCRA) or Certified Clinical Research Coordinator (CCRC) desirable at time of hire; must obtain within three years of employment
