The Division of Vascular Surgery at SUNY Upstate Medical University is seeking a highly motivated medical student to assist in research projects and clinical trials. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic record and excellent communication skills.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the design, implementation, and analysis of research projects, as well as coordinating clinical trials. This will include accessing medical records and databases, understanding statistical concepts, and writing abstracts and papers.
Applicants with prior experience in clinical research are highly valued. The Division of Vascular Surgery is committed to providing a supportive and stimulating environment for students to develop their research skills.
Minimum Qualifications:Must be a current student enrolled at SUNY Upstate Medical University and approved for financial aid through the Student Financial Aid office.
Preferred Qualifications:Experience in clinical research, strong academic record, and excellent communication skills.
Work Arrangements:This is a Federal Work Study position available to current SUNY Upstate Medical University students who have been approved for and accepted Federal Work Study through the Financial Aid Office.
Salary Range/Pay Rate:$17/hour
