About the Role:
ProPath Associates, a leading pathology practice, is seeking a highly skilled Dermatopathology Specialist to join our team in Fall River, MA. As a key member of our Dermatopathology Division, you will play a critical role in delivering accurate diagnoses and providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver precise diagnoses of skin specimens, utilizing both glass slide and digital formats.
- Provide detailed microscopic dictations and gross evaluations, as required.
- Collaborate with physicians and staff to discuss specimen handling, diagnosis, and management.
- Communicate effectively with all levels of management, colleagues, and clients to ensure quality medical care and customer service.
- Participate in educational programs with residents and fellows, sharing expertise and knowledge.
- Contribute to Tumor Board, Grand Rounds, and professional society meetings, staying up-to-date on industry developments.
- Support research projects, applying expertise to drive innovation.
- Participate in division or company-wide activities, promoting our services and advancing our mission.
Requirements:
- Doctor of Medicine (M.D./D.O.) with completion of residency training in dermatology or pathology.
- Board Certification in Anatomic Pathology and/or Dermatology.
- A minimum of 1-4 years of experience, including fellowship training.
- Dermatopathology fellowship training required, with Board Certification/Eligibility.
- Excellent communication skills, with a strong focus on patient-centered care.
