Job Summary

Sonic Healthcare USA is seeking a highly skilled Dermatopathologist to join our leading Dermatopathology Division in Fall River, MA. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering accurate diagnoses of specimens, providing microscopic dictations, and communicating effectively with physicians and staff.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver accurate diagnoses of specimens from both glass slide and digital formats
  • Provide microscopic dictations and gross evaluations when appropriate
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of management, co-workers, and clients to provide quality medical care and customer service
  • Participate as faculty in educational programs with residents and fellows
  • Participate in Tumor Board, Grand Rounds, and professional society meetings when called upon
  • Help with research projects
  • Participate in other division or company-wide activities to promote our services
Requirements
  • Doctor of Medicine (M.D./D.O.) with completion of residency training in dermatology or pathology
  • Board Certified in Anatomic Pathology and/or Dermatology
  • A minimum of 1-4 years' experience including fellowship training
  • Dermatopathology fellowship training required with Board Certification/Eligibility
  • Excellent communication skills
