We are seeking a highly skilled Dermatopathologist to join our team at Sonic Healthcare USA. As a key member of our Dermatopathology Division, you will play a critical role in delivering accurate diagnoses and providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver accurate diagnoses of skin specimens, utilizing both glass slide and digital formats
- Provide microscopic dictations and gross evaluations as needed
- Collaborate with physicians and staff to discuss specimen handling, diagnosis, and management
- Communicate effectively with all levels of management, co-workers, and clients to provide quality medical care and customer service
- Participate in educational programs with residents and fellows, as well as Tumor Board, Grand Rounds, and professional society meetings
- Contribute to research projects and other division or company-wide activities to promote our services
- Doctor of Medicine (M.D./D.O.) with completion of residency training in dermatology or pathology
- Board Certification in Anatomic Pathology and/or Dermatology
- A minimum of 1-4 years' experience, including fellowship training
- Dermatopathology fellowship training required with Board Certification/Eligibility
- Excellent communication skills
