Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team at Arkansas Foundation for Medical Care. As a key member of our customer service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our customers, ensuring their needs are met, and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Respond to inbound and outbound call inquiries in a professional and friendly manner.
  2. Initiate outbound calls to respond to inquiries and follow up with previous contacts.
  3. Resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and effective manner.
  4. Perform administrative tasks, such as creating and maintaining documentation of customer interactions.
  5. Develop and maintain a working knowledge of our programs and services to ensure accurate and effective support to customers.
  6. Present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  7. Compose reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  8. Ensure compliance with AFMC's protocols regarding data confidentiality and security, as well as HIPAA regulations.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma required.
  • 6 months of call center experience required.
  • 1 year of customer service experience desired.
  • Intermediate level computer skills, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to type 50 wpm.
  • Exceptional business English and spelling skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Creativity, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently to achieve stated goals.
  • Valid driver's license.
Physical and Sensory Requirements:

Mobility, reaching, bending, lifting, grasping, ability to read and write, ability to communicate with personnel, and ability to remain calm under stress.
