This role is crucial in guaranteeing that all training activities align with regulatory guidelines across various settings, as well as with organizational policies and other necessary compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement training programs that meet regulatory standards.
- Conduct training sessions and evaluate, research, and share information on available training resources.
- Contribute to our mission of fostering inclusive communities for individuals with intellectual, physical, and developmental disabilities.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal, state, and local laws to ensure compliance and adapt training programs accordingly.
- Manage the Learning Management System (LMS) and utilize technology to facilitate both in-person and virtual training sessions.
- Act as a CPR/FA Instructor and collaborate closely with relevant organizations.
- Ensure confidentiality and maintain meticulous attention to detail while being adaptable and open to inquiry.
- Travel to various locations as necessary for training and compliance audits.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience is preferred, with related experience in the field of Developmental Disabilities being advantageous.
- Strong communication skills are essential for effective interaction at all organizational levels.
- Proven experience in training delivery and presentation development is required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with various technologies for training purposes is necessary.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate excellent organizational skills is critical.
- Willingness to travel as needed for training and compliance purposes.
Primary Duties:
- Continuously assess and refine training curricula to align with evolving regulations and organizational policies.
- Facilitate new hire orientations and essential training sessions, including CPR/FA.
- Keep accurate records of training completions and ensure compliance with training requirements.
- Collaborate with staff to identify training needs and coordinate schedules for various training programs.
- Establish and uphold compliance protocols to ensure adherence to all relevant regulations.
- Conduct audits and maintain compliance documentation to uphold quality assurance standards.
- Foster professional relationships across the organization to support training and compliance initiatives.
