Key Responsibilities- Room patients and prepare them for medical procedures
- Clean and maintain exam rooms to ensure a safe and healthy environment
- Assist with instrument sterilization and preparation
- Complete disability and FMLA forms accurately and efficiently
- Process prescription requests and communicate with physicians
- Prepare pre-op paperwork and ensure all necessary documents are completed
- Coordinate with insurance providers for pre-auth and pre-certification of procedures
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow
- Provide exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with patients and staff
- Assist with CT Scan setup and patient preparation
- Order medical supplies and equipment as needed
- Support surgery scheduling and coordination
- Work closely with physicians and other medical staff to ensure seamless patient care
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in a medical setting preferred
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in medical terminology and computer software
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
