KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce Inc. is in search of a Billing Specialist who will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer support to both internal and external stakeholders regarding billing inquiries. This position is essential for ensuring accurate invoicing to clients and performing various administrative and system-related duties that support Billing, Premium Audit, and Underwriting operations.
- Responds to customer inquiries through various communication channels in a prompt manner.
- Evaluates billing-related transactions; determines the issuance of refunds, premium adjustments, and policy cancellation suspensions.
- Assesses payroll submissions from clients and payroll service providers to verify accuracy.
- Conducts data entry tasks and alerts relevant parties of any discrepancies; follows established error resolution protocols.
- Identifies and reports system or procedural issues, working towards their resolution.
- Handles tasks received through document management systems, emails, or phone inquiries in accordance with departmental standards.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Exceptional customer service abilities, with a focus on resolving billing and policy-related concerns.
- Comprehensive understanding of billing systems, payment structures, and billing protocols.
- Fundamental knowledge of basic accounting principles.
The compensation range reflects our good faith belief regarding the pay for this role. Actual pay may vary based on factors such as education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, and business needs. This range is subject to change.

Note: Compensation is not considered earned until it is vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation are at Kforce's discretion and may be adjusted in accordance with applicable laws.
