Position Overview
The Financial Accountant will report directly to the Finance Director at PAC NYC. This role is essential to the financial integrity of the organization, collaborating with a committed accounting team. Responsibilities encompass managing month-end processes, overseeing revenue data entries, accounts payable, and ensuring the precision of financial documentation. The Financial Accountant will also support payroll processing and other related financial tasks as required.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with finance team members to uphold accurate accounting practices.
- Guarantee the timely execution of month-end closing activities.
- Supervise daily financial transactions, including revenue reconciliation and payroll management.
- Perform monthly reconciliations of balance sheet accounts.
- Assist in audit preparations and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
- Provide assistance for special projects and additional duties as assigned.
- Previous experience in non-profit sectors.
- 3-5 years of accounting or related professional experience.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and proficiency in financial software applications.
- Familiarity with NetSuite is advantageous.
The annual salary for this position ranges from $70,000 to $80,000, accompanied by a comprehensive benefits package. Benefits include health, dental, vision, life, and disability coverage, as well as retirement savings options. Full-time employees are eligible for paid time off and a 401K plan with employer matching.
Work Environment
This role will commence as an in-office position for an initial training period, transitioning to a hybrid model of remote and in-office work thereafter. The schedule for remote workdays may vary.
