Job Overview

Vail Resorts is seeking a seasoned marketing professional to drive growth and innovation for our Epic Pass portfolio. As a Senior Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing business and marketing strategies that drive new guest acquisition through data-driven insights and guest-centric approaches.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute business and marketing strategies that drive new guest acquisition through clearly defined objectives and demonstrable KPIs
  • Synthesize internal and external data into compelling business cases and clear performance narratives for executive audiences
  • Assess and drive strategic opportunities for testing, product, and business innovation
  • Manage and mentor a direct report, with a focus on professional development and building a high-performing team environment
  • Partner with Paid Media and Communications Channel teams on business strategy, go-to-market plans, and execution
  • Partner with the Epic Pass Brand Team to move the needle on what our brand stands for and what we mean to our guests
  • Leverage Tableau dashboards and other data sources to draw clear, concise narratives on business performance in partnership with our Pass Analytics team
  • Study the competitive landscape and market trends, identify, and report out on insights to influence decision-making
Requirements
  • Four-year college degree required; MBA or other advanced business learning or coursework preferred
  • 6+ years of relevant work experience in growth marketing with a proven track record of marketing execution, ownership of results, and strong orientation to detail
  • Experience in preparing and presenting executive-level business cases and storytelling to VP and C-level executives
  • Solution-oriented mindset with the ability to identify opportunities and drive action
  • Demonstrates strong business and financial acumen
  • Able to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, driving multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrated learning agility; ability to quickly adopt new skills and responsibilities, dive in with curiosity, and develop expertise
  • Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders, own collaborative inter-departmental relationships, and manage up

Vail Resorts offers a 'Hybrid' work environment for Broomfield-based roles where employees must live within 50 miles of the Broomfield office and work on-site Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and have flexibility to work off-site on Mondays and Fridays.
