Role Overview

ExxonMobil is in search of a skilled and knowledgeable professional to deliver reservoir engineering support and expertise for Conventional Oil & Gas development initiatives and production operations.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate optimal asset development and effective reservoir management.

Utilize core reservoir engineering competencies in areas such as reservoir characterization, development planning, opportunity identification, and production enhancement.

Key Responsibilities

- Planning, assessing, and executing field development and drilling programs.

- Identifying critical reservoir uncertainties and offering solutions to mitigate financial and operational risks, thereby enhancing decision-making quality.

- Enhancing reservoir descriptions through fluid analysis, core evaluations, well testing interpretations, and production performance assessments.

- Conducting production forecasts and reserves evaluations to support depletion strategies and identify optimization opportunities.

- Analyzing reservoir and well performance data to develop surveillance programs and management activities.

- Innovating and applying new reservoir engineering technologies to drive business solutions.

Qualifications

- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required, preferably in Petroleum, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering; advanced degrees (Master's/PhD) are also considered advantageous.

- A minimum of 5 years of experience in conventional Reservoir Engineering is essential.

- Prior experience in reservoir performance prediction, asset development, depletion planning, reserves assessment, and optimization is required.

- Candidates should demonstrate self-motivation and a results-oriented approach while working collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment. Strong teamwork, communication, and leadership skills are vital.

Preferred Skills/Experience

- Proficiency in Pressure Transient Testing.

- Experience with fluid sampling and analysis.

- Knowledge of Enhanced Oil Recovery techniques.

- Expertise in Core Analysis.
