Key Responsibilities- Coordinates functions and activities related to a single departmental function.
- Position is responsible for a clinic unit.
- Coordinates the scheduling efforts of the unit RN's.
- Acts as liaison person to internal and external customers.
- Responsible for developing and implementing plans/processes for meeting regulatory requirements.
- Trains and mentors staff.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to effectively implement change and assist with the management of departmental budget.
- Must be able to independently make decisions in high-stress situations.
- Other members of healthcare team.
- Nursing Degree from an accredited nursing school.
- Two years relevant clinical nursing experience and for Level II EQ Only: A minimum of two years of current Level III NICU experience including neonatal ventilator.
- Management experience with two years supervisory.
- Certification in specialty area of practice preferred.
- License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Arizona.
- CPR.
- ACLS as applicable by Facility/by Department.
