Position Overview

Opportunities available in various locations.

We are seeking to enhance our clinical team with dedicated and personable professionals: Certified Medical Assistants and Emergency Medical Technicians are encouraged to apply.

Shifts are scheduled from 8 AM to 8 PM, with full-time positions requiring three days of work per week. The schedule includes rotating weekends and occasional holidays, with a monthly release of work schedules. Employees will have a designated 'home' location, with potential travel to other sites as needed.

Key responsibilities include: performing blood draws, administering injections, collecting samples for rapid testing, triage, and assisting with medical procedures.

Roles & Responsibilities


• Prepare patients for examinations and assist with treatments.


• Conduct triage and obtain vital signs.


• Accurately document patient history in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).


• Maintain confidentiality while collecting and managing patient and business documents.


• Collect routine laboratory specimens, including blood draws and urinalysis.


• Administer medications and non-intravenous injections (intramuscular, subcutaneous, and/or intradermal).


• Start IVs, place catheters, and perform splinting as directed.


• Execute various clinical, aseptic, and basic laboratory procedures.


• Document all medical interventions in the EMR promptly and accurately.


• Assist with Occupational Medicine services, including drug screening and respiratory fit testing, while adhering to company protocols.


• Ensure compliance with health care regulatory standards.


• Oversee quality assurance programs for compliance with laboratory standards.


• Uphold HIPAA and OSHA regulations at all times.


• Perform general administrative duties and operate medical office equipment.


• Travel to various locations as required based on staffing needs.


• Complete other assigned tasks as necessary.

Educational Requirements & Qualifications


• Completion of a Medical Assistant or EMT program from an accredited institution.


• At least one year of relevant healthcare experience, preferably in urgent care or emergency settings.


• Willingness to train recent graduates.


• Proficiency in venipuncture and administering injections.


• Understanding of clinical procedures, medical anatomy, and physiology.

Physical Requirements


• Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including weekends and holidays.


• Capability to sit, walk, and reach with hands and arms throughout the workday.


• Finger dexterity and hand coordination are essential.


• Occasionally required to lift moderate weights.


• Specific vision abilities required, including close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
