Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Environmental Education Program Manager to join our team at Pathfinder Ranch, Inc.

About the Role

This is a seasonal position that requires a strong passion for environmental education and outdoor learning. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing engaging educational programs for students from diverse backgrounds.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and lead environmental education programs, including classes, workshops, and outdoor activities.
  • Maintain accurate records and logs of program activities and participant progress.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement new program ideas and curriculum.
  • Provide excellent customer service to clients, including schools and community groups.
  • Communicate effectively with staff, parents, and guardians to ensure smooth program delivery.
Requirements:
  • 18 years of age or older.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Ability to communicate complex environmental concepts to students from diverse backgrounds.
  • Passion for teaching and building strong relationships with students and colleagues.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior experience working in environmental education or a related field.
  • 1+ year of experience working in a camp setting.
  • Current Lifeguard or Watercraft Guard certification.
  • Bilingual or multilingual.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift and carry 30 lbs with reasonable accommodations.
  • Ability to work varied shift schedules, including weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to traverse several miles per day on uneven terrain in varying weather conditions.
Compensation Package:

$660 - $780 per week, paid time off, housing, and health insurance options available.
