Medical Imaging Specialist

Job Summary:
Under general supervision, performs routine diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures. May have individual responsibility for training and leading the work of other employees. To identify each patient's requirements relative to his or her age-specific needs. Willingly performs other duties as requested.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performs routine diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures
- Trains and leads the work of other employees
- Identifies patient requirements relative to age-specific needs
- Performs other duties as requested
Requirements:
- BS in Nuclear Medicine Technology or equivalent
- NYS license/registration or eligible
- ARRT or CNMT certification in Nuclear Medicine or board eligible
- Minimum of five years of progressive technical experience required
- CPR certification required
Preferred Qualifications:
- SPECT-CT experience preferred
Work Schedule:
- Monday-Friday 8 am-4:30 pm
- Rotating call coverage evening and weekends
