We are seeking a highly qualified Cybersecurity Affiliate Instructor to join our team at Metropolitan State University of Denver. As a part-time affiliate instructor, you will contribute to the development and delivery of our Cybersecurity Master's Program, which combines academic rigor with industry relevance.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity, excellent teaching skills, and the ability to adapt to new modes of instruction. You will be responsible for teaching graduate-level courses, developing curriculum, and engaging in collaborative teaching and learning experiences.
Responsibilities- Teach graduate-level courses in cybersecurity
- Develop and update curriculum to reflect cutting-edge industry practices
- Engage in collaborative teaching and learning experiences
- Doctorate in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or related field preferred
- Demonstrated ability in education, technical skills, creative problem-solving, teamwork, and implementing cybersecurity solutions
- Excellent communication skills and familiarity with national cybersecurity educational frameworks
- Industry and higher education teaching experience
- Relevant cybersecurity certifications
