Role Summary
The Immigrant Child Support Case Manager will be responsible for delivering comprehensive case management and support services to unaccompanied immigrant minors who have been released from federal custody. This position reports directly to the Regional Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities
The primary duties of the Immigrant Child Support Case Manager include:
- Conducting home visits and phone assessments to evaluate the safety and suitability of placements for children with their caregivers.
- Providing ongoing case management focused on identifying and addressing the needs of children in various areas, including education, health, legal matters, and personal development.
- Delivering crisis intervention services as necessary, ensuring the safety and well-being of minors during emergencies.
- Maintaining thorough documentation in accordance with organizational policies and procedures.
- Utilizing best practices in social work to assess the progress of children and the effectiveness of services provided.
- Communicating regularly with supervisors regarding any concerns related to child safety and stability.
- Participating in supervision and fulfilling additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or a related field, or equivalent experience
- A minimum of one year of experience in child welfare programs
- Knowledge of community resources and the ability to connect families with necessary services
- Strong clinical and crisis intervention skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Critical assessment and analytical skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- The ability to travel up to 70%
- Fluency in Spanish is required
- Experience working with refugee or immigrant children is preferred
- Cross-cultural or international experience is a plus
Special Requirements
A valid driver's license is required. Candidates must be able to pass an FBI background check and a CA/N check for all states of residence in the past five years.
