About the Role:

  • Greet and welcome patients, ensuring their comfort and providing education throughout treatment.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of patients' health histories to provide quality care.
  • Take and process x-rays and diagnostic assessments using advanced technology.
  • Provide superior chairside assistance during various procedures, adhering to state dental practice acts.
  • Utilize Dentrix for patient scheduling and record-keeping.
  • Maintain treatment rooms with strict adherence to safety protocols and OSHA/CDC guidelines.
  • Manage supply levels and place orders as needed.
  • Partner with providers to implement Heartland Dental systems and optimize office workflow.

Requirements:

  • Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
  • Experience in fast-paced customer-centric environments.
  • Dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification (if required by state dental practice act).
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Access to minimum PHI necessary for job-related functions, with regular HIPAA training.
